Supporting Camp Hope - September 07, 2018

Employees of the Yakima Heart Center are supporting Camp Hope in a Community Outreach! Camp Hope provides safety, shelter, clothing, food, hygiene, and education to the homeless population of Yakima. Last year alone, Camp Hope provided 15,388 bed nights and 33,853 meals to 556 unique individuals. The staff at Yakima Heart Center is in the process of raising funds for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas after making landfall near Corpus Christi on Friday night. The slow-moving storm left behind flattened communities and historic flooding in Houston and other parts of Texas throughout the weekend. Yakima Heart Center and Memorial launch new website - April 04, 2013

The Yakima Heart Center and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital have launched a new joint website called YakimaHeart.com. The site offers expertise on a number of cardiac issues facing our valley. It is intended to help patients better understand how treating cardiac disease can directly benefit patient's every day lives. YAKIMA-The Yakima Heart Center (YHC) welcomes two new cardiologists to their independent cardiology practice; Bharat Keshavaprasad, MD, and Ranae M. Ratkovec, MD. Dr. Keshavaprasad went to medical school in Bangalore, India and studied specialized cardiac medicine at some of the top medical institutions in the United States.
